Web tracking

The CLAAS website uses web analysis tools from Webtrends Inc., 851 SW 6th Ave. Suite 1600, Portland, Oregon 97204, USA ( www.webtrends.com ). These are designed to allow the use of the website to be analysed. When you visit the CLAAS website, information transmitted by your browser is collected and analysed by Webtrends. The data is collected by means of pixels (web beacons) embedded on the web pages and by the use of cookies. The data collected, which is exclusively stored on IT systems in Germany, is used to create anonymous usage profiles that are used as a basis for website statistics. Individual users, however, are not personally identified, and information is not linked to other data. 

Use of cookies

The FIRST CLAAS USED Portal uses cookies. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer via your Internet browser. Cookies are used to make a website more user friendly and more effective. For technical reasons, they may be needed in order for the shopping cart to work. CLAAS uses "session cookies" which are deleted when you end your browser session. It also uses persistent cookies via which CLAAS can recognise you as a returning visitor. Most browsers are set in such a way that they automatically accept cookies. However, every user may independently deactivate cookie storage or set the browser in such a way that a message is triggered as soon as cookies are sent.
